La Perouse Bay - Southwest Maui Is A Beautiful Snorkeling & Hiking Location!

If you're staying on the southwest side of Maui, make sure you visit La Perouse Bay. It's straight through Makena and all the way until the road ends. Go early in the morning, and there's a chance you might see Spinner Dolphins resting and playing the calm waters of the bay.

The waters are very calm in the morning hours, the beach and snorkel area are often very crowded, but there is a spectacular view of the Hawaiian islands of Lanai and Molokai
